Self-realisation Program at Buddhist Temple

Image
In conjunction with Wesak Day (Shri Buddha's Birthday), a few of us went to a nearby Buddhist temple and set up a booth to give self-realisation (SR).  Thankfully, the person who rented the booth has allowed us to share it with them. We were there at 8am and found that there were already many people at the temple.  Most of them were rushing into the temple to join the morning prayers and overlooked our booth. As they finished their prayers and made their way out, we manage to attract some seekers. Those who received their realisation were really true seekers, some have been doing other kinds of yoga, some have been joining other kinds of meditation.   The last time I actually got involved with SR and talked to strangers about Sahaja Yoga were many years ago.  Since then, I got involved in singing at programs and spreading Sahaja Yoga through bhajans. The decorations were very simple and hassle-free.  The flower arrangements were just few but with super fragrant roses and lilies.  I wish I took photos of the puja stage, but at that time, our thoughts were to meditate more and to go deeper. The puja talk was Shri Buddha Puja 1991 at Belgium, wh

Thank You Shri Mataji for giving us our self-realisation, for awakening of our kundalini and for the opening of our Sahasrara! Yesterday it was Sahasrara Puja at the center.  We had a great puja and love and joy was felt throughout!  It is not necessary to be nasty to others, after all we are all brothers and sisters, all from the womb of the same Mother.  Guess some of us have forgotten about that and let ego drives our being. Let's remember this wonderful day and feel the love of our Mother within each one of us.
